AMERICAN EXPRESS CENTURION LOUNGE

A New Standard in Air Travel Amenities

For decades, American Express has maintained one of the most unique brands in the financial industry. Their tiered card structure (Gold, Platinum, Black) essentially serves as gauntlets for motivated capitalists of the world. So, in many ways, it should come as no surprise that Amex is a new disrupter in the previously stagnant market of private airport lounges.

The Centurion Lounge sets a new standard in the market by offering a powerful array of services and amenities. Walk through the doors and you are quickly enveloped in an intoxicating aroma which was reportedly a custom creation by industry leader 12.29. Gracious front desk staff welcomes visitors and recommends a series of amazing, complimentary services that include massage, manicure, and showers.

A series of seating areas provide various experiences for relaxation, productivity, and collaboration.

There are currently Centurion Lounge US locations in Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York (LGA + JFK), Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle.

Gone is the standard fare of cheese cubes, cookies, and nut mixes to be replaced by a succulent buffet of rotating culinary specialties and a well-curated bar of complimentary beer, wine, and cocktails. Members of the Admiral’s Club may have thought they were enjoying luxury in the air travel experience, but after stepping foot into a Centurion Club, they immediately see what they didn’t realize they were missing. In fact, there may be a “Centurion Lounge Effect” which encouraged The Admiral’s Clubs around the world to undergo comprehensive renovations.

International Centurion Lounge locations include Hong Kong, London, Stockholm, Mumbai, Delhi, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Melbourne, Mexico City, Monterrey, and Sydney.
